Feature Home on Spring Parade of HomesTM Raises Nearly $6,500
Over 1,200 people toured the Feature Home during the recent Spring Parade of Homes™ event presented by the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire. The 5 bedroom, 7 bathroom rustic elegant home raised nearly $6,500 for the Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the HBASE.
The Feature Home, built by Deffenbaugh Homes, was located south and west of 69th Street and Western Avenue in Sioux Falls. The executive home has over 5,500 square feet, two double-sided fireplaces, a huge wet bar in the lower level, two separate Jack and Jill bathrooms, 5 bedrooms and much, much more! The clean, contemporary feel to this home makes it one of a kind.
The Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that provides scholarships to local students pursing degrees in building related fields, tools for local schools’ building and trades programs and various community service projects throughout the Sioux Empire, including Repair Affair Day which is scheduled for June 8, 2010.
“Thank you to everyone who toured the Feature Home this past weekend and helped raise so much money for the Care Foundation,” said Lisa Schmidt, Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation Board of Trustees Chair. “A special thank you goes to Deffenbaugh Homes for their dedicated time and impressive home building skills in creating the Feature Home for this event.”
